Marie has her undergraduate degree and Master of Arts degree in Theology from Villanova University, and a Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from LaSalle University.
Marie has a passion for helping others reduce their suffering by building their strengths, whether it be through counseling or Pilates. Her experience guiding people to achieve their goals through health coupled with her studies creates a unique approach on what it takes to embrace change, embrace life, and move forward.
In addition, she is also a certified in Authentic Pilates and considered a Master level instructor. Marie has owned and operated a Pilates studio for over ten years and has taught over 10,000 hours. She has had the great fortune of working with clients ranging from Olympic athletes to the terminally ill. Her work with elite athletes lead to being approached to work with multidisciplinary team and coordinated care with psychologists and pediatricians in treating adolescents with eating disorders. Pilates was utilized in the treatment as way for the client to bring greater awareness to their body and to help alleviate anxiety.
